Looking Glass Falls in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina is a 60 foot (18 meter) drop for water of the Davidson River. Wintertime  moisture on Looking Glass Rock is frozen as an ice sheet on the rock face and the resemblance to a mirror is how the water fall gets its name.
