Each Insight plaque is embedded with the authentic Greg Lawson logo that was granted to him as a registered trademark by the United States Patent and Trademark Office near the turn of the century. The modified letter L is fashioned as an infinity symbol in recognition of the Lawson legacy, fostering a one-planet recognition coupled with the fact that historic photographic lenses featured the infinity mark, and this was utilized in a practical way in most of Lawson’s historic large-format field work by bringing all elements into a relatively common focus.
